Status Updates

​June 2025: The planning team worked with City staff through the spring to develop a preferred land use concept, and is now working on a preliminary draft of the General Plan that will be available in July 2025 for staff review.

October 7, 2024: The Public Concepts Workshop was held at City Hall to review alternative ideas for the city's future, and online input will be collected until October 18th.

September 2024: The planning team prepared preliminary concepts for the public workshop, and met with the Steering Committee to review ideas.

July - August 2024: The planning team completed the existing conditions analysis and community engagement summary.

May - June  2024: Multiple community meetings were held, including neighborhood meetings, a business/stakeholders meeting, and a visioning workshop.

April 2024: The planning team analyzed existing conditions and prepared for upcoming public engagement opportunities.

March 2024: The planning team met with the Steering Committee, gathered data, and started analyzing existing conditions.

March 2024: The planning team met with city staff to discuss the planning process and tour the city.
